^{Start your applications early enough to make even the early bird jealous. Research the firms, tailor your CV, and write compelling cover letters. Early applications scream enthusiasm and preparedness, giving you an edge over the procrastinators.}

3. Marks Are Your Golden Ticket

^{Sure, I knew grades were important, but I didn't fully grasp their impact until it was almost too late. High marks aren't just a pat on the back—they're your ticket to the best internships and job offers. The top law firms? They’re looking at your marks like a hawk. So, hit the books and aim high from day one.}

4. Articles: The Crucible of Your Career

^{Securing articles is more than a checkbox; it’s a formative period that shapes your career. You might discover new passions or find that your initial interests aren’t what you imagined. Stay open-minded and use this time to explore.}

5. Beyond the Big Five

6. There Are More Routes Than a GPS with ADHD

Don’t box yourself in;  explore all the avenues your LLB degree can offer. The legal field is rich with opportunities if you’re willing to research and keep an open mind.}

7. Don’t Be Shy—Ask for a Lifeline!

^{Whether it is friends who've completed the course, professors, or academic advisors, don't hesitate to seek help. Utilise office hours, attend study sessions, and ask questions. No one expects you to be a legal genius overnight—there’s always room for a little guidance!}

8. The Degree Dilemma: Undergrad or Masters?

^{Before jumping into an LLB, I discovered that having a BCom or BA Law undergrad helps balance the workload, and many firms seem to prefer it. Explore the different modules and think about whether any of them spark your interest. For instance, Tuks offers accounting, while Wits provides insurance as an option in the BCom degree. Each university has its own unique offerings.}
